So you’re thinking about checking out Dubai Garden Glow. It’s one of those places that’s been around for a bit, and people either really like it or think it’s just okay. Depends what you’re into I guess.
Basically it’s a park with a ton of lights and dinosaur statues. They moved the whole thing to Zabeel Park in 2026, so if you went before, it’s in a different spot now. The new location is next to Dubai Frame. Two main areas you walk through. One’s got all the glowing stuff, the other’s got dinosaurs that move around and make noise. Takes a couple hours to see both if you’re not rushing.
It’s not huge or anything. You’re not spending the whole day there. But if you want something to do on a Wednesday or Thursday night and you’ve got a couple hours, it’s decent enough. The photos come out pretty good which is why a lot of people go. Instagram type of place if you’re into that.
The place is at Zabeel Park, Gate 3. That’s the new location as of 2026. If you’ve been before, forget the old spot. It’s not there anymore.
You can get there a few ways. Metro is probably easiest. Max Station on the Red Line is the closest one. Walk from there, takes about 10 minutes. Bus works too if you’re near Al Jafiliya station. Driving is fine, there’s parking near Gate 3. It’s free parking which is nice.
Since it’s right next to Dubai Frame, a lot of folks do both in one night. Makes sense since they’re basically right there next to each other. You could spend a couple hours at the garden, grab some food, then head over to the Frame for the views. People do it all the time.
Open Wednesday through Monday, 4 PM to 9 PM. Closed Tuesdays unless it’s a public holiday. That’s it. Pretty straightforward.
If you go right at 4 PM when they open, you can see the dinosaurs while it’s still light out. The photos come out clearer that way. Then as it gets dark, all the lights come on in the garden part. It’s a different experience seeing it transition from day to night. If you go later like 6 or 7, you miss the sunset thing but still get the full light show. Some people prefer going later because it’s less crowded. Trade off is you don’t get the daylight part.
73.50 AED per ticket. Kids under 3 are free. That’s it. One ticket gets you into both areas. No separate charges.
Book online if you can. Saves you from standing in line. You can buy at the gate too but it’s slower. The website booking is pretty easy to use.

This is where all the glowing stuff is. Sculptures, tunnels, all lit up. Made from recycled materials and stuff that breaks down. The whole thing is designed so you can take pictures. That’s basically what everyone does here.
Different zones have different themes. Bright colors, lots of lights. If you’ve been before, some displays change with the seasons so there might be new things. Some areas let you actually interact with stuff, not just look at it. The interactive parts are kind of fun, especially if you’re with kids.
They’ve got real plants in there too. Over 25,000 trees and plants from different countries mixed in with the lights. So it’s not just a warehouse of LEDs. There’s actual greenery and space. Feels like a garden at night, which is the whole point I guess. It’s not all artificial which is good.
Over 120 dinosaur models. They move and make sounds. Big ones, small ones, scary ones. The T-Rex thing is pretty intense even though you know it’s fake. The movements look real enough that kids get into it.
There’s a museum section with fossil stuff and info about dinosaurs. How they lived, what they ate, that kind of thing. For kids there’s a lab area where they can dig around and learn. It’s educational but not in a boring way. Not like you’re reading a textbook or anything.
At night the dinosaurs light up. Looks different than during the day. Some people actually prefer seeing them at night with the lights on. The glowing dinosaurs against the dark sky is pretty cool looking.
Can’t bring your own food or drinks in. There are food stands inside. Regular stuff like burgers, pizza, snacks. Prices are what you’d expect at a place like this. Higher than outside but not crazy. If you want to save money, eat before you go or bring cash for the stands. The food is fine, nothing special but it’s there if you need it.
No animals. That’s a hard no. The place is wheelchair accessible. Paths are paved and flat. Wear shoes you can walk in because you’re going to be on your feet for a couple hours. Seriously, comfortable shoes matter.
Photos are fine. Actually encouraged. The lighting is made to look good in pictures so even phone photos usually turn out decent. Just don’t block people while you’re taking shots. Everyone’s trying to get their shots.
No dress code but bring a jacket. It’s outside and it gets cool at night. The park is open air so wind is a thing. In summer it’s still warm but the jacket’s still useful.

Yes. Free parking near Gate 3. That’s a bonus.
Can I do Dubai Frame and this in one night?
Yeah. They’re next to each other so people do both. Spend an hour or two here then go to the Frame. Lots of people do this combo.
What about wheelchairs?
It’s accessible. Wheelchair access throughout. Paths are paved and flat. No issues there.
Is it worth going?
Depends what you want. If you want something different to do one evening with decent photos, yeah. If you expect a huge all day theme park, no. It’s a 2-3 hour thing. Realistic expectations matter.
What should I wear?
No dress code. Bring a light jacket for the evening. Comfortable shoes are important. That’s the main thing.
