Dubai Super Guide for Kids 2026: Where to Go This Summer

Dubai's Super Guide for Kids helps parents quickly find more than 100 family activities across Dubai, including theme parks, sports academies, water parks, workshops, and family cafés. It saves time by grouping venues by activity, making summer planning much easier for families with children of all ages.

Dubai just made summer planning simpler. Brand Dubai, the Dubai Media Office’s creative arm, published the Super Guide for Kids on dubaidestinations.ae. It’s part of the #DubaiDestinations campaign and lists over 100 venues in five groups: indoor entertainment, sports academies, water fun, creative workshops, family cafes.

Who is this Super Guide for?

Parents who need a quick answer to “what do we do with the kids this weekend.” The guide puts a theme park, a swim class, and a rainy-day option in one place, covering ages from toddlers to teenagers.

How Does the Guide Work?

By activity, not location. Brand Dubai sorted everything into five categories, so you search for what your child actually wants to do. Each category sits on dubaidestinations.ae and links straight to the venue’s booking page or contact number. It has no built-in age or price filter. Check details directly with each venue.

Indoor Entertainment: Where to Beat the Heat

Big names: KidZania Dubai, IMG Worlds of Adventure, The Museum of the Future, Ski Dubai, Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo. Newer additions: Neon Galaxy, AYA Universe, Play DXB. Trampoline parks: BOUNCE, Sky Zone, Adventure Parx, Adventure Zone. Escape rooms: NoWayOut, GAME OVER, Escape Hunt Dubai. Animal encounters: Dubai Dolphinarium, The Green Planet Dubai. VR: Zero Latency VR, EVA Dubai VR.

Ski Dubai is inside Mall of the Emirates. Ticket details for Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo are in our Dubai Mall Aquarium guide.

Sports Academies for Active Kids

Some families want a routine, not a single outing, and the guide covers that too. Academies are grouped by sport. Football: Alliance Football Club and the Real Madrid Foundation Football Program. Gymnastics: Absolute Gymnastics and Grand Gymnastics Academy. Tennis, basketball, and martial arts show up through Dubai Tennis Academy, Beyond Basketball Academy, Star Basketball Academy, FitRepublik Martial Arts, and The Warrior Academy. Parkour DXB is there for kids who’d skip the ball sports altogether.

Most run on school terms. Call ahead if you only want a short summer block.

Water Parks and Splash Zones

Aquaventure World and Jungle Bay Waterpark top the water category. For something shorter, there’s Grand Hyatt Dubai Waterpark and splash pads at Town Square and Dubai Creek Harbour.

Swim schools sit here too: Aqua Swimming Academy, Dolphin Sports Academy, ProFit Swimming School, Hamilton Aquatics. These run as ongoing lessons built around water confidence, not a single splash.

Ride details by age are in our Aquaventure World guide.

Creative Workshops and Hands-on Learning

Cooking: Petits Chefs Dubai, Mamalu Kitchen, Top Chef Dubai, Jones the Grocer’s kids’ workshops. Pottery and art: Bedia Pottery, Dubai Pottery Studio, Picasso Artists, Art Kala Fine Arts. STEM: Young Engineers UAE, Curiosity Lab, Fun Robotics, Bricks 4 Kidz Dubai, theKidSpace LEGO Robotics. Photography: Gulf Photo Plus, MOUTASEM Academy.

Looking at Abu Dhabi options too? Our guide to Abu Dhabi’s creative summer activities covers similar pottery, art camp, and photography choices, and Abu Dhabi’s best summer camps for 2026 has a wider list.

Family Cafés and Pet Cafés

Two smaller categories close things out. Family cafes: Café Confetti, Peaches & Cream, Baker’s Kitchen, Playtorium Kids Playarea & Cafe. All of them are designed for kids from the start.

Cat cafes get their own spot. Cat Cafe Vibrissae has branches in Al Safa, Mirdif, and Dubai Creek Harbour. Meowtropolis Cat Cafe and Meet Cat Cafe round things out.

How to Plan Around the Guide

Heat runs the schedule. Morning or evening for outdoor sports academies and splash pads. Midday goes to indoor entertainment and creative workshops. Check our UAE weather page before locking in anything outdoors.

Free options: Al Mahatta Park in Sharjah, Quranic Park in Dubai. Both have playgrounds and green space at no cost.

Confirm age limits, height restrictions, and holiday pricing directly with each venue. None of it is on the guide page.
